Which projects are eligible?
Stationary refrigeration and air conditioning systems that use non-halogenated refrigerants are eligible:
- be completely rebuilt or reinstalled, or
- the refrigeration unit is newly created, but the refrigerant system is
(water, brine, air distribution system) remains in place - Heat and Cold Storage within Supplemental Funding
Supplementary promotion Latent storage
with min 60 kWh and max 3000 kWh

Within the scope of the directive, the following funding priorities are included
- Funding is limited to 150,000 euros per measure and to a maximum of 50% of eligible expenses
The implementation planning is subsidized with the following lump sums
- 500 euros per air cooler, minimum 1,000 euros, maximum 5,000 euros
- 1,000 euros for the integration of one or more thermal storage units
- 1.000 Euro for the integration of one or more Cold Storage units
Who is eligible to apply for funding?
Eligible to apply for stationary equipment are: Companies, non-profit organizations, municipalities, local authorities, special-purpose associations and proprietary companies, universities and schools, hospitals and church institutions, irrespective of the intention to make a profit.- Food retail or other retail
- with cold room and freezer
- With demand for industrial and process refrigeration
- with high cooling demand and accruing waste heat
- Hotel, catering, baker, butcher, butcher
- Schools and hospitals and much more.

Since January 2019, the promotion of air conditioning and refrigeration systems with non-halogenated refrigerants decided by the BMWI has been running.
The funding amount for the newly published funding guideline from BAFA can now be determined via the online funding calculator for latent and hybrid storage.
It has never been easier to apply for a grant !
All advantages at a glance
The following funding priorities are included within the guideline.
- State support for stationary air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Funding is limited to 150,000 euros per measure and to a maximum of 50% of eligible expenses
- The validity of the directive runs until 31.12.2021

Our heatStixx and heatSel are designed in such a way that, in addition to a large surface area, the PCM layer thicknesses are simultaneously kept so low that the entire PCM participates in the phase change process, thus realizing efficient heat transfer (rapid charging and discharging) even at very low temperature differences.
The design as a hybrid heat accumulator enables the greatest possible dynamics due to the water content and is therefore perfectly suited for a wide range of applications in refrigeration / air conditioning and heating technology.
